THE ART OF ANOMALY
PAUL GRIMMIUS
An anomaly is a fact, phenomenon, or contradiction in a theory that cannot be explained within a certain model or paradigm. It’s a deviation from the norm that may lead to a paradigm shift.
As the chairperson of the cooperative SuikerBiedt and a board member of the GROENN platform, I have been working on various projects related to these themes since 2021. I have a strong drive to make a difference and inspire people. Connection and vision are the common threads in my work.

For a better world
From Paradigm to Anomaly
As an entrepreneur, game-changer, connector, and catalyst, I like to do things radically differently, dedicating myself to creating a better world. My name is Paul Grimmius.
I spent twelve years as co-owner and creative director of the dance platform Paradigm in Groningen. From that role, my passion for socially and environmentally responsible entrepreneurship has grown over the years.
After winning the Groningen Culture Prize 2023 with Paradigm, I decided to step down at the peak of my career.
Anomalie in action
Creative impact enterprise.
The Art of Anomaly is an impact enterprise with a creative perspective on current challenges.
Sustainability, climate adaptation, participation, city development, art, culture, awareness, and education are the main themes I focus on. This includes activities such as lectures (keynotes, guest lectures, etc.), program development, coaching, advice, project initiation and execution, project management, consultancy, and more.

Through The Art of Anomaly, I make myself available to entrepreneurs, governments, municipalities, developers, artists, foundations, etc., to collaborate on projects that matter. I enjoy working constructively with existing parties to explore more meaningful alternatives and models that can lead to a new status quo.
My extensive network and broad experience are at the service of the challenge at hand.
